STALLION EXTRAVAGANZA
On Saturday February 2, Lou Roper,
accompanied by Christine Lawson and Dusty Morgan, demonstrated the trainability
and versatility of the Arabian Stallion. Christine presented National
Champion Alada Baskin I both in hand and under saddle. Dusty presented
Regional Champion Another Hero in reigning. Lou presented Multi-National
Champion Mosqof Fame V demonstrating riding him without aid of bridle or halter.
Lou "wowed" the crowd when he removed Mosof Fame's bridle and maneuvered him
over walk-overs, jog-overs, and lope-overs.
Before and after the demonstration, these beautiful, gentle stallions enjoyed
the attention of passers-by who stopped to visit with them bending their
heads to accommodate small children wanting to pat a nose.
